What does "Christian" mean?

Publié le par Charly

Christianism is composed of three main parts: Catholic, Protestant ("Anglican") and Orthodox! So when you say "I am Christian" , I answer "so what are u?".

As for me, I am Catholic. where is my dear Marie? Every woman needs to be pampered but not too much!

I remember that we had a text for french class which discuss the different religions in France, and there was a pie chart. And all we see was "Catholic", "Protestant", "Islam" and "Others". And my classmates were asking why there isn't "Christians", and my teacher said that "christians" are classified under "Protestants". This is because in Singapore, Christians are broken into different groups e.g. Anglicans, Protestants, Presbyterian, Methodist, Evangelian, and the Seventh's day adventist. I'm sure there are somemore, but these are just the major christians that I know of in Singapore.

Catholic is not Christians. Because Christians is equivalent to "protestant" in french. That's what my teacher told me.
