Question

Yesterday I asked one friends' friend whether he were Singaporean ( he was a Chinese Singaporean) and he answered : " Of course lah! Dun look like a local?"

I was thinking: " u will excuse me but how can i distinguish a Chinese Singaporeans from a Chinese from a Taiwanese from a Malaysian chinese from an American Chinese from an australian chinese etc."
