Singaporean accent

Publié le par charloroco

it can be very different :

  • Some speak so fast that I always wonder : " Is he speaking English?"
  • Another one speaks English with a Chinese thick accent. Cute. I think it sounds better than French one.
  • Many people mix Chinese and English so I dun understand anything.

Oh I had forgotten....All Singaporean don't speak English! what a scandal!

WO HEN HAO!!!!

Oh... a french having fast food... it's a taboo!!! LOL... Well I guess you must have been served by some old aunties who truely have some problem. Sometimes I need to take a few second to figure out what they are trying to say too! So it's not just you :) But singlish isn't hard, and it takes just a few second to figure out what the other person is trying to say... It's a little bit like the slangs and the southern french accent as compared to the "real french" accent. It's very different, but I get use to it after a while. So I'm sure you'll be able to handle well with singlish too!
