My tutor was telling me that during my 4 months of internship, I have been on vacation for 3 months and I have been working for 1 month.
During the 3 months, I have been working from 9am to 6pm. Normal hours in Singapore and during this last month, 9 am to 9 pm...Do you think it's normal to often work in that way???
Plus, he told me that I should have worked more as I have no family at home...Well, I think this is another way of thinking ...another culture and blah blah. But he makes me lose face (Yep, I am talking like a real Asian!). I am an intern. I will not sleep at work! I don't live for work. Working is important but not too too too too much....

I haven't the impression to be a lazy person at all, here. In any case, this is very nice to tell me this just before my presentation...It doesn't encourage me a lot!

PS: My presentation will be on Monday 25th.

Well, I believe your tutor is just doing his job, telling you the reality of working life. Yes, it is normal to work from 9am to 9pm everyday, because you are a professional. My friend who had just graduated, is now working from 8.30am to 11pm, and sometimes, even during weekends. Don't get too discourage by the words though. Your presentation is still very important! You can dwell for a while, but after that, you will need to concentrate on your presentation. It is hard, but it's something we all have to go through. Gambatte!!!

In Asian countries like Korea, Japan, Xinjiap and HK, they seem to work more than other countries!
